Social Justice Internship Program at Loyola University Chicago
One of the premier experiential learning opportunity at Loyola University, I designed the Social Justice Internship Grant Program as a year-long, 300 hour internship experience. Through a competitive application process, 10 students are selected and move through the internship experience in a cohort model. The cohort meets monthly for community building, reflection, and continued training. In the second (spring) semester, students enroll in a section of UNIV 390, gaining 3 hours of academic credit.

In an effort to increase and facilitate civic dialogue on campus, The Citizenship Series was developed to provide regular, on-going campus programming, aligned with community partners, academic courses, and student organizations. Programs ranged from documentary screenings on race and civics to interactive talk-back sessions on voting and civic participation.
